David Kay Training and Development was established in 1992 as a boutique consultancy servicing the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) sector.
DKTD works within Australia and with clients in Asia and the Pacific region to develop competency-based education and training for governments, learning institutions, industry bodies and businesses.
We are specialist consultants in the areas of:
- industry competency standard development
- curriculum development
- training research and management
- training resources development
- training delivery, monitoring and evaluation
- training organisation compliance and quality assurance
- project design and management
- professional development including teacher training
- cross-cultural communications
- TVET capacity building for international aid programs
Much of our work is directed at strengthening institutions and building service capacity.
We assist our clients to become self-sufficient in the development, management and delivery of TVET services, thereby contributing to their productivity, growth and prosperity.
In Australia we work with government and business -- including Blue Chip companies -- developing learning resources and programs, managing compliance with training regulations, and delivering accredited professional development skills training for executives and decision-makers in partnership with a Registered Training Organisation.
We are increasingly undertaking project management assignments for organisations in developing nations in Asia and the Pacific where we’ve conducted training needs analyses, introduced industry standards for training, and provided a broad range of business and management consultancy services.
